Fr Edward celebrated the 20th Anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood along with Fr David Sheen. A lovely Eucharist Service was held at St Catwg’s Church, Pentyrch on Wednesday 25 June at 6pm. Our Preacher was the Right Reverend Bishop of Llandaff, Mary Stallard and the church was full for the event. At the end of the service, Father Edward presented his wife Philippa, Bishop Mary, our Ministry Area Leader Rev’d Sandra Birdsall, Rev’d Mary Evans and the Rev’d Suzanne Brummell with red roses. He said it was the first time he’d ever given a Bishop flowers!
Many gathered after afterwards at Insole Court for refreshments. What a joyous occasion! A BIG ‘thank you’ to Edward’s wife Philippa who organised the event. Congratulations Fr Edward and Fr David!
