Faith in Action – Mothers’ Union

The Mothers’ Union is a Christian organisation that has been supporting families worldwide for over 140 years. The Garth Ministry Area Mothers’ Union is part of a worldwide Christian movement. With 3.6 million members in 78 countries, its overriding aim is to support projects which improve the lives of families and change policies which cause injustice. These projects take place all over the world, including several across Wales, such as those supported by the Diocese of Llandaff.

We are delighted to note that Rev’d Sandra Birdsall (MU chaplain for Llandaff Diocese) is now part of our Ministry Area team and can be contacted on SandraBirdsall@cinw.org.uk. Mothers’ Union is open to everyone: you don’t need to be a mother and men are welcome too!

You are most welcome to join us when we meet. There are three Mothers’ Union branches in the Ministry Area. They meet on:

The second Monday of the month at 2.00pm in the New School Rooms, Radyr.

The first Tuesday of the month at 2.00pm in the Hall in St. Michael & All Angels Church, Tongwynlais.

The first Thursday of the month at 2.00pm in St. Mary’s Church, St. Fagans.
