Our Lay Chair, John Kiff has supported this charity for a while.
The charity called Tool Aid Cymru collects and refurbishes tools and then sends them to Africa. They are based in Penarth and are linked to Tabernacle Church. You can take a look at the detail on their webpage https://www.tabs.church/activities/twam
So, why don’t we all take a look in out sheds and garages? Those old rusty drills, sanders, saws, strimmers etc could be put to good use, please don’t throw them out!
Take them along to TAC where they are given another lease of life and then put to good use in Africa where people really need them. TAC may be able to arrange collection – please contact TAC to check.
What an excellent cause for us all to get behind!
