Welcome to The Garth Ministry Area

The Garth Ministry Area serves communities to the North West of Cardiff. It covers Taffs Well, Tongwynlais,  Gwaelod y Garth, Nantgarw, Pentyrch, Creigiau, Capel Llanilltern, Groesfaen, Radyr, Morganstown, Danescourt, St. Fagans and Michelston Super Ely, including Plasdŵr. Croeso cynnes iawn, a warm welcome awaits you at any of our churches in The Garth Ministry Area. We are part of the Church in Wales within the Diocese of Llandaff, In Christ’s name, we are engaging with and caring lovingly for, all those in need in our communities. We offer friendly, accessible worship and activities that appeal to all generations, young families and children. Our Churches offer a variety of services and more information can be found within the Calendar or on the individual page relating to the Church you’d like to visit and worship in.

Lent, Holy Week and Easter Services and Events

There are many services and events taking place over Lent, Holy Week and Easter across the Garth Ministry Area. These are a mix of more traditional services, family services, informal talks and social events. Everyone is welcome to join us.

MA ‘Come and Sing’ Evensong

We’re delighted that our next evensong will take place in Llandaff Cathedral on Sunday 12th April. Singers very welcome! Please come along to Christ Church’s regular practice on Thursdays at 6pm, or to the cathedral on the day at 1.30pm. Music provided. Please also feel very welcome to join the congregation for the service at 4pm.
