About Rev’d Belinda Huxtable-Goy

Ian was a Curate in the Garth Ministry Area from July 2022 until she was ordained in March 2024. The following was her biography at the time she left the Ministry Area.

Before ordination, Belinda was employed for over twenty years, in a number of roles in the National Health Service, as a nurse, midwife, specialist clinical practitioner, and as a manager.

She trained for ministry at the St Padarn’s Institute and as Assistant Curate (Cure of Souls) has followed her deep passion and pastoral heart for supporting the wellbeing and flourishing of all people. Belinda particularly enjoys working across our local communities, churches and schools. She is gifted in leading retreats and quiet days with a focus on nurturing spiritual wellbeing.

She is the mother of two boys, currently living in Llanharan with her husband, Simon, and dog, Hector. Hobbies include gardening, swimming and walking.
