SUMMARY:God and Science - in the Pub
DESCRIPTION:The aim of the MA’s StoryTell Action Team is to: “Grow each of our abilities to articulate our faith effectively to others” (Telling the Joyful Story) and thereby to grow the number of Christians. To this end\, and following on after the Prayer Course\, but before Advent\, we are holding a short series of discussion-groups entitled ‘God and Science – in the Pub’. \nThis is aimed not only at our own church members – whose abilities and confidence to articulate their faith we are seeking to strengthen – but also at others in the community who are interested in the subject matter and who may hold a range of views. \nThe sessions will be on Monday evenings – 10\, 17 and 24 November at 7-9pm in a reserved space at the Ty Nant pub in Morganstown – where there is ample car parking as well as a bus service.   There will be a short personal perspective given by a speaker and then discussions with questions suggested by the speaker or questions from those attending.   You will be most welcome as will anyone who you know that might be interested.
